Sevier’s career trajectory in the film industry began with positions under Robert Townsend and director Sam Bayer at RSA USA, Inc. This initial exposure to production sparked his interest in the field, prompting him to pursue formal education in production at UCLA. Following his studies, Sevier worked on his first independent film project. Achieving success in the film industry proved to be a gradual and methodical process. Subsequently, he continued to advance in his career through a strong work ethic, gradually climbing the ranks in the industry. Sevier’s reputation showcases his ability to produce diverse narratives across various genres including Pendejo (Danny Trejo), The Culling (Johnathan Schaech) and Borrego (Lucy Hale). Karen (Taryn Manning) achieved both entertainment value and provided a social critique on everyday racism, assisting in Sevier’s becoming a respected voice in the ongoing dialogue about diversity and inclusion in Hollywood, consistently emphasizing the importance of authentic storytelling and equitable opportunities for underrepresented communities.

Sevier’s latest endeavour is as one of the producers of the film Werewolves, set to give audiences a nail-biting big screen experience in 2024. Under the direction of Steven C. Miller (Silent Night) and the writing of Matthew Kennedy (Inheritance), the film includes a diverse all-star cast including Frank Grillo (Captain America), Katrina Law (NCIS), Ilfenesh Hadera (Godfather of Harlem), James Michael Cummings (City on a Hill), and Lou Diamond Phillips (Prodigal Son). In Werewolves, a celestial event triggers a latent gene in every human across the globe, turning anyone who entered the moonlight to undergo a temporary metamorphosis into werewolves for the duration of one night. A year later, the supermoon is set to return, potentially triggering another worldwide transformation. This project isn’t just a movie; it’s a metaphor for the transformative power within us all.

Like the dormant gene awakened by the supermoon in the film, Sevier’s journey reminds us that we too possess hidden strengths waiting to be unleashed. Maybe the time has come us all to unleash our inner werewolf and transform our lives, just as Sevier has done in the realm of producing.
